Do Paragons Make You Feel Dirty?
Do you feel bad when you used a Paragon in PvE? It's just that there so powerful I almost feel bad using them. When a Paragon it is almost boring to play, just c+space, your literally invincible. There is no thinking involved.
My Paragon Build:
Aggressive Refrain
Save Yourselves
Focussed Anger {E}
They're On Fire!
There's Nothing To Fear!
For Great Justice
"They're on Fire!" at Leadership 12 = 29% reduction / 71% damage
"There's Nothing to Fear!" at Sunspear rank 8 = 31% reduction / 69% damage
(ToF) .71 x (TNtF) .69 = .49 (or 49% damage is received / 51% reduction)
Then with +100 Armor - Every 40 Armor Reduces Damage Dealt By Half
51%/2 = 25.5%
25.5%/2 = 12.75%
87.25% Reduction From 1 Character and that's balance?
Edit : I'm sorry paragons! I didn't intent for my build to become the build for paragons. I didn't intend for you to be forced to play my build by guilds + groups! I am sorry, as usual my builds become the staple of Guild Wars.

its very IMBA in PvE, considering one paragon can make an entire team twice the tank a normal warrior is, but then again, why nerf something in PvE that actually gives the para some play-time with real groups?
Do you seriously want to take those skills away? If you did, paragons would go back to being mesmers... pretty much abandoned in PvE.
Eh, sure its IMBA, but its what gives the para's some playing time.

That damage reduction is very very situational. SF eles are not used nearly as much anymore, so burning isn't as common. Paras are fine. @_@ Leave them alone...

Without burning that is still only 41.25 damage dealt or 58.75% reduction coming from 1 character.

So? A bonder provides 50% damage reduction to the entire team. Let's nerf Life Bond. While I agree that the difference between a bonder and a para are obvious, the point remains, both can do it. The para is simply doing it with no chance of removal. Paragons do not need to be nerfed anymore, they are fine. Please don't give ANET more ideas, or I will have to knock out Izzy before he gets a chance to read this.

Well, I use an axe or sword, as I like to stand in the middle of the mayhem. So yeah, I feel a bit dirty, and bloody and fiery. . .

Like so many of the PvE skills they are grossly overpowered. But, of course, isn't that pretty much the point?
Any noob can run this and be VERY effective, it is simply mashing buttons when their recharge comes back up - it takes no skill whatsoever. Ursan Blessing is the same way - mash buttons when the skill is recharged == win. Pain inverter allows and noob to have a "kill other" button. And the list goes on and on.
It just seems to me that most want the ones they like left alone and the rest nerfed (though the OP may want them all nerfed for all I know). In PvE use them or not - as long as it isn't either causing massive inflation or is totally destroying the ability of people to form parties let people play them if they want. If you feel dirty doing it then put a different skill on there.

So? Bonders require one person to do nothing but stand around and cast a sig on themselves. Bonders can be shut down, interrupted, or have their bonds shattered.
Paragon? Almost warrior like damage without the spikiness, aoe unstrippable party-wide buffs and is a tank themselves to boot.
Why do you think there's so much bitching about them breaking game balance?

You already said it but bonders have many weaknesses. Enchantments can be stripped. The bonder can be interupts, dazed, knocked down etc etc Paragons shouts can't be removed, and the paragon is attacking adding dps as well as reduction.

Paragons can be shut down just as well. There's blocking (no adrenaline = no energy, which means no spamming of skills). Most anti-melee shuts them down, and there are a few anti-shout skills out there aswel.

Another problem - Save Yourselves doesn't scale with a attribute - just allegiance rank.
There's Nothing To Fear - Leadership affects it.
Save Yourselves should be changed to scale with strength.
